Notify your bank and inform them on the problem. Should settle legal matters with them .
Cancel the card, treat it like any other unauthorized purchase when your card is stolen.
Phone your bank up and cancel it they do the rest
Inform your bank of what’s happened and they’ll start an investigation.
And in the future, never use a debit card online- not even with the ‘temporary use’ account numbers. Funds taken via debit card are gone from your account until the issue is resolved (if it ever is), and often includes long waits for legal proceedings.
If you need to make a purchase online, use a credit card or borrow someone else’s and pay them back. If the account number is stolen and purchases are contested, you’re not out the money while the issue is being resolved.
Here’s how this works generally in the industry although you’ll need to consult with your bank for their specific policies. If the fraud was your fault including your negligence then you’ll have to eat the loss. If it’s not your fault in any way, for instance if you got skimmed from an ATM or your info was stolen from a database then you can generally get the money back. None of this has anything to do with the fact it was used for gambling by the way.

if someone else did contact bank they will give you a stat dec to fill out but if you lost the money and you fill out the stat dec you will go for fraud by deception and have a free holiday in jail
